What to do before purchasing your home in Coronado

Owning property in Coronado is a valuable asset. With Coronado's competitive real estate market, home owners have the security of great value. Will the buyer be renting during the property year-round or during the hot summer season? If so, the buyer might prioritize proximity to the beach and number of bedrooms over other details such as the style of the home. Getting priorities determined based on realistic financial abilities and expectations are the first step in an efficient Coronado real estate purchasing process.

What's in Coronado

From fine dining restaurants to the family pizza joint around the corner, Coronado has a wide spectrum to accommodate all ages. It has the small town feel with the convenience of a big city of downtown San Diego being just over the short bridge. To get from Coronado to downtown San Diego in just minutes, the Coronado home owner has multiple options: the owner can drive over the bridge (2 minutes); the owner can take the ferry from the Coronado Bay (30 minutes); or the owner can take a water taxi from the Coronado Bay (10 minutes). The latter two options are preferred by most because the owner does not have to deal with parking downtown, because the owner can have a few margaritas and let someone else operate a vehicle rather than him or her, and because it's romantic and wonderful to cruise across the bay on a balmy night!

Any home located on Coronado Island is a minute away from world famous beaches and views. The fact that Coronado's housing market is expensive ensures the quality of living on the island. Owners of Coronado homes can walk to the Bay or the Beach in minutes. Since the Island is flat, they can also easily ride their bike, scooter, skateboard?or even Segway or golfcart-- both of which have become increasingly popular for Coronado home owners.
